Just about to buy my first HDTV (probably the Pana 42PX70) and have a couple of questions. I have a Sony DAVS550 all in one system and am using an S-video to scart cable to connect to my current TV (my current TV only has scart inputs). Would i see a significant improvement over the S-video to Scart if i bought a decent component lead to connect to the Pana?
The other option is to replace the Sony with a new DVD player (maybe Denon 1930/1940) and decent HDMI lead. Will probably do this but if i won't see a big improvement i might as well wait and go for an HD player.
