New better amp than Cyrus two

I want to buy a new amp.

I have here a old cyrus two amp + psx power, and its sounding still good.

What to buy as his follower, a new cyrus 8 v2, or a other brand.

Whats the guide line in quality ?

There are so many brands, please help to make a wise choice.

The 8v2 is a big step up IMO with a much better soundstage and over all delivery (better, more powerful and well timed bass along with smooth midrange and non-harsh but crisp/clear treble).

Thing is we could do to know what music do you listen to and also what is the rest of your system (speakers/CDP/turntable etc...)

Also; what is your budget?

Well.

I just finished making my new loudspeakers and those are pioneer prs C171cs car loudspeakers.

I made the bass reflex kabinet myself, and i connected them with good condensators with foil condensators.

They sound realy good, maybe even better than the most expensive loudspeakers from B&W.

I lissent at my local shop to B&W loudspeakers with a naimaudio amp connected to it with monster cable and I was not impressed by their sound.

I have have been luckey that they sound so great, pure luck.

I have a Mission DAC5 D/A decoder to, what whas also a good decoder for his time.

All equipment is connected with van der hull cables ( cs-122 loudspeaker cable and, the bay C5 cable for line inputs )

I had also a Linn record player, but i have sold it.

My music style is dub,ambient,dance ed.

I am searching the most natural sound reproduction, like nature sounds, movie sounds, all sounds that can be recorded with a microphone including also clasical music.

I even remaster cd's with the computer with magix cleaning lab and some plug-ins.

A cd can also sound a lot better, it makes a big differance in ambience, clearety, and directness in sound.

Sounds silly maybe, i am busy with end stage and the source at the same time.

My new amp must cost about around 800 pounds, or 1000 euro's
