Given that my TC-7520 already has LM4562NA op-amps I am only missing the better DAC.

In my applications of the Beresford (DVD sound, one or two Freeview radio stations, BBC iPlayer and 256k AAC+ iTunes downloads, youtube) the TC-7520 is more than good enough.

I am now using glorious FM again for radio (except BBC World service daytime and Radio 7) and no longer have any lossless, CD derived material on iTunes since buying the Naim kit a few months ago. So the role of the DAC has diminished somewhat in my system.

I will read any Caiman reviews with interest. Personally I think Beresford should drop the basic 'vanilla' TC-7520 and only make the Caiman otherwise they run the risk of having a confusing product line up.

It is confusing enough already for certain UK publications (not this one of course) if a recent group test was anything to go by

Hi guys, I didn't make many since I wasn't sure many people would be interested in the Caiman at its price that is close to the DM. So it is only visible on my HHF site if you are on a UK or European based ISP server. If your ISP server is not in Europe, even if you are in Europe, you won't see the HHF site.
I only made a couple for members of a certain UK forum as a show case and to demonstrate the performance ability of integrated circuits such as the WM8716, LM4562, and PCM2902. But demand from non-forum members has been overwhelming so I may well keep it as my flagship model for European customers.

If you can't get on my site but you are in Europe, just email me and I shall email you back the specs etc.

Hi Claire, my apologies for not noticing the revised house rules. Kindly delete my posting and membership and I shall re-join in due course as per the rules. My intention was only to address the web access issues experienced by WHF members. But rules are rules, and I am not seeking any exceptions.

You don't need to leave and rejoin - just amend your signature to reflect your interest, and all will be fine
