New AV Receiver

Hello all.

I've started to pull my AV system back together again with a hodge-podge of bits, but my receiver (Yamaha DSP-AX620) is old and on it's last legs (in fact I think the sub out has stopped working) so I want a new one. I only have a few requirements:

- MUST have preouts for at least the fronts, as I'm using actives
- Spotify Connect
- Yamaha or Pioneer would be nice (I have enjoyed Yams in the past but Pioneer would match my BD player)

My budget is the minimum that will meet all those requirements. I don't need Atmos. Older models I could get s/h would be acceptable if you have any eg eBay suggestions.

Any suggestions?

Hm seems not as it says they're line out as opposed to pre out, so won't be volume controlled, right?

It should work as pre-outs. Also check out Marantz NR1710.

OK so the Yamaha RX-V685 appears to fit the bill from that manufacturer but the cheapest Pioneer with preouts appears to be the SCLX701, is that right? Any other off-brand suggestions?

Scratch all that. Just bought a s/h Yamaha RX-A850 for £300. Ticks all the boxes.
