I am need of a new amp and want either of above but not sure which one! I currently have a Denon 2802 which is great but doesn't do new HD sound formats & only 6.1. I will have to connect my ps3, sky hd, LG BH200 & tosh ep35 to amp - & hook up my Mission elegante 7.1 speakers, which i may bi-wire (I will also hook up my decks & another pair of mission speakers too)
I note denon has 4 hdmi inputs and they would all be used up. Have seen prices online for £1600 to £1749, amp will be used for films, music and networking, if i spend this sort of money i want it to be amazing!! any views or info would be great.
Also cant get a demo of either in this area so i need help!
