Need some turntable advice

Thanks for the encouragement Steve! So, here it is a more detailed description of my actual system:

- amplifier ROTEL ra 1520,

-power amp ROTEL rb 1552,

-speakers B&W CM8.

As I said,I´m thinking to purchase a turntable to use it as an analog signal source for the mentioned system. Actually,could be any other device which offers a clear and natural sound.Allocated budget 400€-600€.

Any suggestion?

Hello again! Also I have an iMac ,2010 model. Can it be used as a CD player or media player for flac files.I don´t know if the sound chip(card) is good enough to obtain a quality sound.

Is there anyone who have knowledge in this area?

You can use the iMac to play ALAC files from iTunes, or FLAC files with a third party iTunes plugin. Ideally you would want an external DAC but the iMac isn't too bad without.
