NEED NEW SPEAKERS

I have Onkyo CR505 micro system, I d like to buy new pair of speakers. I listen pop, R&B, rock music. If possible with this sytem; I prefer detailed vocals, with good bass and clear treble.

My choices are:

1) Dali Concept 1

2) Wharfadale 9.1

Which one gives me good result with compressed music (I set up an apple laptop with an USB DAC connects to micro system analogue line in) ?

PS: I m open to other speaker suggestions within same range.

I bought an Onkyo system for a friend (maybe the same model no. as yours) and I liked the 9.1s with it.

I have a different model of Dali's in my main system, very clear and musical speakers for the price.

I think you'd have to listen to choose between the two.

Can't say more than that as I haven't heard the Dali + Onkyo I'm afraid.
