Need advice with speaker/ amplifier pairing!

Hello everyone, I own a pair of Castle Conway II floorstanding speakers, and recently my old Akai amp gave up on me, hence the need for a new amplifier. I would like something below £150 and prefferably used/ vintage. any advice would be of great help to me as I haven't seen any posts like this in any forum.

Personally, I'd get a Sony DB930.

Actually ... I have one (in storage). The very best AV Sony product for 2 channel.

Sounds fantastic. They did a comparison with Conrad Johnson elsewhere ... .

Battleship build with the very best parts inside.

Sounds almost valve like, no harshness. I'd happily use it as a main system centre. Not Small, that's the only issue.

Agree, and they regularly pop up on a well known auction site. There's at least two on there at the moment ranging £50 - 120.
