NAS hard drive

Hi,
Need to get a NAS hard drive for Sonos to put WAV files on.
Looking for input of good, bad and ugly experiences. Am looking at Buffalo linkstation and Maxtor shared as the hot favorites.

Hi, I use a buffalo linkstation for my Sonos. Set up was straight forward with no issues. If you have a look at www.ripcaster.co.uk they have a set up guide to follow.

I did add a DAC to improve the quality of the Sonos.

Oh forgot, I have read that some people have had problems with playback with wave, you may be better with apple lossless or flac (my choice).
