I sold all of my hi if equipment many years ago, but am now looking to get a new system. The only thing I kept was a pair of proac response 1.5s. It has to be a one box or separates of the same line (the wife couldn't stand looking at a mishmash of boxes that don't match), so I would like people's opinions over which is best. The Nain uniti lite or Cambridge cxa60,cxn,cxc. Thank you all in advance

hi - with that budget, you really should try to audition, preferably with your own speakers. Both your options should sound great, and add Hegel H160 to your list. It's only missing a cd player, but if you want a streamer, you could just rip all your CDs to a nas, or use whatever to spin CDs (bluray player or laptop or whatever) and use the DAC in the Hegel.

Well I can vouch for the very enoyable sound from the unitilite. It really suits the speakers I have (epos es14). As everybody says make sure you listen and compare using your own speakers.

Be interesting to know your own findings when you eventually choose. cheers tonky
