Funny this. Although I think the Roksan is vfm, a lot of bang for the buck, nifty remote and good sound through most of the frequency range, bass is the one issue which would deter me from buying one. That and a tonality which errs on the sleepy side. Sure, it goes loud but there's a lack of micro dynamics which are a big part of rhythm and drive and which make some amps fun to listen to (naim, cyrus), others not so. Oddly enough, the next amp up in roksan's range has less power but I'd take a calculated guess it addresses some of these shortcomings.
Try listen to Cambridge Audios top integrated and you will hear the difference in bass quality though it's not perfect by any means either.
For what it's worth, I'd save a bit longer and perhaps audition Naims XS. You probably won't regret it in the long run.
When I heard the Roksan K2 with Dali Lektor 2 speakers there wasn't any lack of rhythm and drive. It just sounded 'right'. Bass was fantastic, tight with lots of articulation.
+1 when I heard it up against the Nait 5i and Cyrus 6. In fact its is the bass that was the most impressive compared to the other two amps I'd say, midrange and treble were a much closer contest.
