Naim Nait 3 not powering up

I was trying to hook up my Nait 3R last night and did someting to cause it not to power up. It did power up initially - I turned it on and off a couple of times but all of a sudden no power.

I probably put a cable connector in the wrong socket or the like but the amp didn't shut down at that time.

I checked the fuse and it looks OK.

Any ideas on what I could have done or what else I can check?

Did you have the speakers cables connected?

No, the speakers were not hooked up.

Could be the reason then, you need at least 3.5metres of cable for resistance on the Naim 3, you could check the Naim forum there are posts about it there.
