My system of the late 80s early 90s

Hi all,

I have unboxed my old collection of seperates from nearly 20 years ago or so , it had taken me at least 3 years back then to build it up.

Remember those were the days of Alan sugar and his crap so spending big bucks on HI FI was for the wealthier, ??

I loved Denon back then and it was probably the best mid range gear of the time, Denon DCD820, Denon TU 215rd, Denon PMA 250,

B & W 601s, a glass stack stand that cost more than the Tuner, and finally the (Dragon) Nakamichi DR3 tape deck.

This was the business back then and set me back 5 - 6K, its not worth £200 now on e bay.

Oh I wish I had 6K to spend now

Any way I am starting a new project and will get there eventually.

The Naka Dragon will get you much more than £200 on e-bay the good ones still go for up to £500, I know I've tried to get one.....

If your still looking for a DR3 let me know I might sell at your price.

Looking at your systems I am glad I dont live next to you.

Your Nakamichi is EITHER a DR3 OR a Dragon. They were two seperate models. DR3s are worth considerably less than Dragons.
