My system - Dec 2010

Having moved across the country to find work, we are now in a much smaller place so I have downscaled my system to fit in the living room. Because I have 2 boys under 5 years old, the system has to be protected from their constant destruction! I've managed to fit my headphone setup into one side of our living room TV fcabinet. System consists of a small TV, Apple TV (V2), Benchmark DAC1, and Sennheiser HD650s. Just slide open the door after the kids are in bed and the cord reaches nicely to the sofa...[😀]

Super head-fi Jax. How does itunes get to the TV? Is there a NAS somewhere else?

Thanks idc. Yes, there is a tower PC in a corner of our bedroom that has a wifi router attached. iTunes on the tower PC broadcasts via Wifi to the ATV box in the cabinet.

Hey AlmaataKZ,

No job yet. Step one was to move as quickly as possible out of a very depressed area. Now that I'm settled in here in Dallas I'm in full job search mode. No luck yet, but here in the states this is the worst possible time to look for a job. November and December is chock full of holidays and many companies will wait until January to get serious about hiring. But, at least I'm in right place now and there are plenty of jobs here. Too early to panic. Thanks for asking...
