my poor rega apollo

I think my poor Rega Apollo is slowly wearing out. the display is noticably fading, its becoming very hard to read in normal light.

there's a light hum eminating from the right hand side, i'm fearing the worst.

she still sounds beautiful, so i hope she clings on to life a little longer.

this cd player is the reason i'm listening to so much music these days. and the reason i upgraded my speakers and amp too.

i wonder if Rega could give her a full service, new laser, new display, stop the humming, and possibly put an aluminium faceplate on, and give the old girl a new life.?

Perhaps the humming is a result of the faulty display module? That should certainly be relatively straight forward to get fixed by Rega.

I'd give Rega a call. From what I have heard they have great after sales service.
