My Onky Cant find my sub ?

Hi

I Have a Onkyo SR875 Amp & a Asw610 (B&W Sub)

The sub is only connected 2 the amp via the sub cable.

Upon Speaker set up the amp doesnt find the sub

Where am i goin wrong ?

You could try turning the volume up on the sub on audyssey set up, see if that helps.

make sure plugged in to sub out not in and if the sub has both an on and auto setuting turn to on as above turn the volume up on the sub a little and run full adyssey setup again

most common problem is connecting to the wrong purple RCA terminal as mentioned above.

hi. are your front speakers set to large?? bass gets redirected if so. set to small. ???

Also worth checking the cable: disconnect from the receiver end and, with the sub on and turned up, pinch the end of the cable with thumb and forefinger, so your finger contacts both the outer and inner conductors on the phono plug. If you get a buzz sound the cable and sub are both working OK.
