My New setup- cables needed.

Ok here goes

I have a sony kdl40w4500 on the way(from john lewis!, they stated it was a 40w4500 when i phoned,back of the net!)

the sony 2400es receiver

the sony 550 bd player (i know fanboy alert)

and the kef 2005.3 speakers

xbox 360 elite

sky hd

what i want to know is what cables i would need i have it as this, hdmi from bd into receiver, hdmi and optical for sky hd into receiver, speaker cables and sub cable into receiver, hdmi cable from xbox 360 elite to receiver and finally a hdmi from the receiver to the tv

does that sound right to anyone?

also can i get surround sound from xbox360 elite or just 2.1?

Yup, think you've got it spot on there. And you should definitely be getting 5.1 from the Xbox - most games are in Dolby Digital.
