I can think of a couple of things I would happily accept for nothing, in return for a review. Being a Somerset man, I think “ ‘Tis gurt good” should do it…

Fosi have a specific program where they offer kit in exchange for reviews. They don’t dictate what you should write, but it’s hardly unbiased, however well intentioned.

I think I'll add my little twist to this thread, the 3E A7 class d amp has got my ears perked up like a doberman.
Apparently they've been in the game for a long time, making components for other people, only now they decided to make their own.

Boy, can that bloke talk? He don't stop - one of those where you wonder how they breathe.
Always interesting to see inside things (he could do with sticking to amp related details - rather than the history of every record he's ever bought 😜)

Of course, reviews of paid-for devices can also be sponsored/bought.
