My modest collection

Quite a collection!

Loved the Mission 75 range.
I have 751s with a Marantz 6004 on the PC, and upgraded 753s (tweeters, x-over) with an Audiolab 6000A on the main rig. Photos when tidied...
The 752Fs have new Seas tweeters, and are absolutely phenomenal.
If I sell others, it'll be the 75s that stay!

Nice!

Back in the day (between me and a friend I lived with), we had 750LE, 751, 752F, 753F, 754F, 75C and 75AS. Basically the whole range. 😊

I'm just trying to imagine the sound with them all connected!
I remember when magazine reviewers came up with the (reasonable) theory that other (unconnected) speakers could affect the ones you were listening to in a demo room.
(Not such a crazy theory when you think about it - especially at higher volumes).

Of course in Dougal's case, there's no question of some audible influence 😆

Well, the speaker side anyway.
I've thought about thinning the herd quite often, but it never seems to happen!
Also have Mission 753s in the lounge, and 751s on the pc rig.

This is my bedroom. Telly sounds via A400, and currently the 761s...

Everything works, bar the first edition 780s slap bang in the middle. Blew the woofers out on NYE in the pub a few years ago. Have a donor set of 753s so just need to transplant drivers.
Why so many? I just like speakers. And I'm possibly a bit weird, I dunno 😂

Oh absolutely. But this just does the telly, at low volumes in my bedroom so isn't really an issue.
Wouldn't set the main rig up like this!

Speakers are the window of your soul.
The more the merrier 😊
Fortunately, and although I have been through a few in my time, I can only listen to one pair at a time.
The rest are money in the bank whose worth are declining with time.....
Personally I see no reason to keep all those speakers unless you have limitless funds to buy better.
