i uploaded my pics to the site www.flickr.com. Once uploaded on flickr open up pic and right click on pic and click on properties, highlight URL and rigth click highlighted area and click on copy and then in reply message on the forum click on icon that looks like a tree and paste URL address into space provided.

Charl, I noticed your settings for your plasma were very round numbers, have you tried to calibrate it since installing?
Reason I ask is that I bought the Digital Video Essentials DVD and ran it on my plasma and it made a hell of a difference. It's a really badly designed user interface on the DVD but you do eventually get through it and it leads you through all the parameters. You can see on screen the difference. I just wondered whether you'd considered it. For a $20 disk, it makes a world of difference, on top of which you learn how your screen works!

I have managed to source the DVD you mentioned, my father in law in Aus is sending it, should be here in 2 weeks.
I have also received my new amp, Yamaha RXV 3800, will be redoing my set up and should have some new pics soon. My hi fi kit has also arrived, rotel preamp, rotel power amp and rotel cd player. I have to design and make a stand for it, pics to follow.

I have set up my stereo system with the av system, i haven't decided on stereo speakers yet. Will be getting Yamaha Bluray player soon and upgrading to Yamaha RXV3900 amp.(Only had RXV3800 for a few weeks)
That Rotel system looks brutal man. I'll bet it sounds that way as well. Careful you don't crack any tiles when you turn it up.
It sounds awesome, i'm very impressed. I've got it connected to my Paradigm Monitor 9's for now untill i can get stereo speakers. I'm hoping to split my stereo set up from my cinema set up i.e. 2 seperate rooms. Building work is still in the planning stage.
Upgrading to a 3900 after only having had the 3800 a couple of weeks? You've got the upgrade bug! The 3800 probably isn't even run in yet!
Yeah, got the bug. I wanted the 3900 but was told that it would only be available in South Africa in December, i couldn't wait and got the 3800. 6 weeks later my local sound shop advised me the 3900 was now available, they offered to give me my money back so all i had to pay in was the difference, sweet deal.

I'm loving the RXV3900. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the 3900 has firmware update capabilities.
I did sort out the pre out to stereo amp. Must have been a faulty mic on the 3800, working just great with the 3900.
I can't wait till i get my bluray player to hear HD surround sound.

Rotel are selling 10 series amps at reduced prices. I just bought Rotel RC1082 stereo amp and Rotel RB 1080 power amp at less 55%. Arriving soon and will post pics then. Will be keeping Rotel RC1070 and Rotel RB 1070 for new family room.
