Hi, i'm a fan of 80s hifi gear.

AMP - Technics SU-V8X

CD - Marantz CD65DX (modified - away at my Tech atm, SOlen caps. better ouput, etc)

Tuner - Technics ST-610

Cassette Deck - Sony WE-405

Turntable - Technics SL-5210 ( with Nagaoka MP11 Cartridge)

AMP - Technics SU-G50 ( sometimes used in place of V8X)

CD - Sony CDP-761E ( used sometimes in place of Marantz)

Speakers - Technics 3 ways SB-2735 (modified)

Vifa tweeter, Peerless midrange and 12" Peerless Woofer. Crossover is being modifed with Solen Caps. Supra Ply3.4S cable to the woofer, and Tweeter and MidRange Supra Ply3.4. Dual ported box

Technics SU-V8X - Marantz CD65DX ( Atlas Equator MK2)

Technics SU-V8X - ST610 Tuner ( Supra Dual)

Technics SU-V8X - Sony Cass Deck ( Neotech OFC cable)

Technics SU-G50 - SOny CD Player ( Merlin Bach Mk3)

Do you find the sound stage quite narrow with the speakers so close together?

Sound stage seems good, usually have them a litte further apart

Its not just the 80s music, i know great years back them. I found that very interesting also the
turnover on the bass and treble. I have tried them, i just leave it on straight dc. Thanks :)
