So for a free system tell me what you folks think 😛

Starting from the heart of the system...

Technics SU-X120 with PSX Caps

Technics CD Player SL-P990

Technics RS-x502 Twin Cassette deck

Philips Six CD Player - Model Unknown

Technics SL-J110R Turntable (I Likes my vinyl)

Technics CS Speaker System SB-CS55 - Main Speakers

Wharfedale S-500 Speakers - Daisy Chained!

Well thats about it and so far It's the best system I've had. I did have the Technics SU-X502 Amp but the board died so it went for a journey, The sound is excellent as well as can be expected from a Technics system.

All this cost me nothing I'm now after a Mini-Disc deck for lifting all my cassette, dare I say that won't cost me a penny either!

Thanks folks, hope you are all well!

Chris.

I got mine from a service on the internet called freecycle, had a few bits n pieces from there.

May end up getting another amp and sorting out a home cinema setup.!

My mind boggles as too how you managed to get your stuff from Musical Fidelity ?

Chris.

I've heard of Freecycle but didnt know anything about it. Have you got any pictures you can post as this is the part of the forum for that.

I got my amp as I found out that my old one had been fitted with the wrong parts by the company who make the amps for MF. I was able to provide details so that MF could take action and by way of thanks they sent me the new one.

I shall get some photos done just now

I'll just try and post the so here it goes..........

Not a bad system for nothing really, I had go and pick it all up so it cost fuel but it was local so that wasn't a problem!
