My Denon AVR1910 problems.....

My 1910 seems to have just packed up!!

Had it hooked up for 1 week.

Both Coax and both optical inputs have fallen silent.

Analogue inputs hiss loudly.

HDMI inputs work.

Is it knackered? Anyone else seen this happen?

Is it a case of take it back to the dealer?

Shame I loved it for what little time it worked.

I bought it on 18th january - will I be able to demand a replacement or will they try to insist on repair?

It's my birthday tomorrow and I don't want to have an argumental day!! LOL

After a week, normal practice is to have it replced.

I installed it last Saturday but bought it on 18th january - I waited until my SkyHD was installed before installing the new amp and Sky postponed on me twice- hence the slight gap.

I'd like to know what caused it though and how likely it is to re-occur in a replacement.

I will take it back and ask nicely the minute the shop opens in the morning...

Got it swapped no problem. the replacement is installed and up and running fine......so far....
