Here's my current set-up:
Phillips 5.1 satandard def DD/DTS surround receiver. Wharfedale 9.1 75th Anniversary front pair. JPW M series surround pair. No name center speaker. REL Q50 sub. Acoustic Solutions 32" HD erady TV. Old style PS3. Quad pre-amp. Rega P3 record deck. Denen DV 565A multi format player.
This is partially an experiment to have ALL my sound come through one amp. I have a Quad power amp put aside which my record player used, which i will probably bring back out as the receiver isn't a brilliant amp for stereo music.
Surround music from the Denon is good as i have some DVD-Audio and SACD disks, which the Phillips had dedicated analogue inputs for, though in reality, all 5.1 analogue inmputs support this.
Well,that's teh basic set-up. More detailed assessments later.
