Inception Blu-ray.

Good Film , exceptionally good soundtrack....... there is a 5.1 soundtrack selection on the extras disc which has 10 (yes 10) tracks by Hans Zimmer in DTS-HD Master Audio (on an extra disc) and it's making me wonder why blu-ray music only isn't challenging the CD it's fantastic.

I would class this as a must own blu-ray disc if ever there was one , will be the demo disc of choice i think.

Can we have more like this please.

I'd be surprised if they visited this forum.

I'm waiting to get my hands on this disc too.

I preordered it and have been frantically checking my emails to see where I ordered it from to ask them why I hadn't received it and then found it's not due out until 06.12.10. So, how come you guys have it already?

I normally get mine from DVD World USA you can pre order "Advanced Street Dates" if you pay a bit more and you can see it is in the "now in stock section". On this occasion however i purchased mine last weekend at the Memorabilia 2010 show at the Birmingham NEC. It was slightly dearer at £25 but i wasn't bothered so i paid it. Not sure why this is such a big deal it's not illegal as far as i know.

I'll take a stab at how this works, the order is shipped to the supplier upto a couple of weeks before release date , the supplier ships outside the US , as it is no longer in the US it falls outside of release date regulations. Businesses in the UK and elsewhere take advantage of this and sell the product. I'm just guessing i'm not an expert.

Aside from this release - I can not wait for the new release of Apocalypse Now on Blu Ray. Finally in its original 2.35:1 aspect ratio rather than a cropped 2.0:1. It's not much, but its such a shame the cinematographer only did this to appease people with smaller screens. I've been watching 2.35:1 movies since I had a 24" 4:3 TV, and whilst it is only a little smaller than 2.0:1 on such a screen, I'd rather see it as it was shot.

Stunning movie. Watched it for the first time with a stuffed crust pepporoni pizza - somehow it wouldn't be the same this time without the same menu! Oh and by the way - I still think the opening scene is one of the best sounding demos for home cinema.

I think I need to see this film again.

I love these kinds of matrix type films. And I think recently leonardo di caprio has been in some great movies. So encouraged by lots of v positive reviews I went to the pictures for the first time in years to see this film.

Not sure why. Perhaps I had built it up too much and was expecting cinematic heaven but I thought the film was at best average.

Clever but at no point did I find myself getting excited or really involved. A few people walked out of the pictures half way through and my mrs wanted to join them.

I'll give it a secong go and put it on my lovefilm list.
