Hello All

I apologise if some of these questions have been asked and answered before -

When the WHT were testing this product did they listen to music in apple lossless or Wav 48000 - and do they think there is any audible difference between the 2, if of course they tried them both.

What headphones were used during testing and could anyone recommend a good pair of headphones, because I've heard the apple headphones are kak.

Can you buy lossless versions of songs from itunes?

and finally (I think)

Is there anyway to connect the ipod through a leema Tucana amplifier?

Thanks

STM.

Hi there

No need to apologise, we're here to help. I think our Dep Ed Dom Dawes tested the iPod 120GB, so I'll have to check with him back in the office on Monday to get answers to most of your questions.

However, you're right, the Apple headphones are rubbish so I'd go for something like the Grado iGrado (£40) or, if you really want to treat yourself, the Klipsch Image (£200).

No, you can't buy songs in Apple Lossless on iTunes, but you can buy a selection of songs/albums in iTunes Plus which are available in twice the normal bit-rate (256Kbps as opposed to 128Kbps) and without Digital Rights Management. You'll fine iTunes Plus in the Quick Links box top right of the iTunes homepage.
