Monster Beats by Dr Dre

I was in the Apple store today looking at the new macbook pros, and these caught my eye

They sound good, though I found the base to be a little over powering, but they are compatible with the iphone for answering calls and changing songs etc with the remote. I would be using them with my iphone and macbook pro (when I get one).

Are they worth the £155 they cost in the apple store?

I suppose only you can really answer that question.

If you have set aside a budget for some headphones then I guess, as with anything, it will be best to demo a few pairs (if possible) and see what you prefer.

I am interested in the headphones myself as I listen to a lot of Rap so I would think they should suit that genre perfectly. I will have to demo some.....

I agree with the comment about over powering bass. Too much for me, but may well be good for rappists
