I've always been a bit of a petrol head and it appeal to the family. Unlike hi-fis, buy the right type of car, and when we get bored with it, I'll sell it for a hefty profit.

I've said for a while now that conventional shares and investments are outmoded: buy a cracking old piece of furniture or a classic car, keep it good condition and... bingo!
