Contact the seller & offer him the starting bid price, if you can pay cash then he's saving a load of ebay/paypal fees & might well let it go at the bargain price. I've done this a few times, it nearly always works.

No accounting for what an Ebay seller may do. There's a pair of speakers I've been watching that started at £200 & didn't sell. So they were re-listed with a start of £250 & didn't sell. They've now been re-listed again for £350 BIN! :doh:
