Hello,

I need a better cable to connect my Mojo to Elex-r amp.

I found this
QED Performance Graphite J2P 3.5mm Jack To Phono Cable 1.5m for 150 ron (~28 pounds)
https://www.avstore.ro/cabluri-audio/qed-performance-j2p-graphite/

Is there a better choise? 40 pounds is my max budget.

Thx!

I bought one of these for about a fiver many years ago. (I paid the premium for a John Lewis branded one in order not to get a fire hazard / P.O.S. lead from a dodgy ebay or amazon trader.) I still have it and it works perfectly.

Even paying this much is overkill and I only paid to guarantee getting a safe product built to the necessary standards.

Alternatively ask Chord Electronics technical support which brand of lead they would recommend.

There is a section about connecting Mojo to preamps and active speakers within post #3 of this forum thread

http://www.head-fi.org/t/784602/chord-mojo-the-official-thread-please-read-the-3rd-post

Setting Mojo to Line-Level (e.g. for use with a Preamplifier or Active Loudspeakers, etc.)

There is a lot of interesting info, but no recommendation re a cable. This thread is actively monitored by Chord, and they do try and respond quickly and positively to questions from users.

I connect my mojo with a cable I think I bought from B&Q for about £3 a few years ago, but I am thinking of upgrading to something like this soon (I have found the kabeldirect optical cable works well, so it will not be an expensive/risky experiment for me to try this cable as well).

As Chebby says, you do not have to pay the earth - but there is always a feeling of peace of mind, if you know that you have paid just enough to get a cable that is well put together, and will not fall apart.

My current cable is made from a cheap RCA cable and an mini jack adaptor..
So I want to have a hole cable , no add-ons/ adaptors.
Also ofc copper, gold plated, good isolation, best buy are some of pro's I'm looking for!
I've read the posts in the official thread, there in no best buy cable recommend.
Someone said that he replaced the included USB cable with 100$ one and there it's a big sound improvement! I've got a audioquest forest USB cable, and jitterbug for the digital connection. This combo is definitely better than the original USB cable!
So, I think a good j2p cable will improve the sound quality!

If you like what the AQ cable has done, why not stick with the same brand? Either AQ Tower or AQ Evergreen will do the 3.5mm to 2 phonos thing well without breaking the bank.

The Forza Audio Works is proving popular for premium interconnects for mojo users in europe, and I would probably try one for my usb interconnect to my phone. They can supply a wide variety of custom built cables if you get in touch.
