Hi All,

After a week or so of purchasing and selling I have secured for now an interesting new set-up to manage both AV and HiFi through my MA RS6's, now I have a bit of a dilema which before the HW turns up I am open to some input.

So we have a NAD C272 Power amp with a single 12V trigger input and this is working great with my Denon AVR 4306, now I have a Rotel RC-06 which can also provide a trigger to turn on the power amp so my question is if I merge these 2 inputs intot a 2 to 1 connector is there a potential that as the Rotel signals it will fed 12V back up the Denon and cause some form of damage or worst still turn it back on ?

Any comments ?

Thanks

Ian

Ok, no comments but thought I would update my findings:

Denon - not sure about this will have feedbakc in new year

Rotel - NO WAY, manually trigger the amp, just incase a diode fails.

NAD - still waiting for them to confirm

Next steps for me make up some leads with diodes in and give it all a go should not be that expensive or difficult to achieve this, then all I will need to do is mod the NAD to be able to remote switch between the 2 input sources from my Harmony remote :)

Merry Xmas
