matching performance to style

hi i am having some building work done and have the opportunity to incorporate a new surround av and speakers to my Xbox and soon arriving sky HD.

i am looking for a small and stylish av amp and speaker set up i am leaning heavily towards the Marantz 1501 av amp ( i can't find any reviews) and either the Kef 1005.2 (which i can get for £300 in silver) or the Jamo A102 HGS5

i also like the look of missions 5.1 M-cubes but they are NXT technology

please help

i am worried about longevity and future proofing as all the cables will be embedded and the missions have this umbilical cord thingy.

which combination would be the best for stereo and movies?

QA 1000 For 350.00 maybe can be had, but you need to look or kefs have good reviews.

All depends on the size of the room and will it fill it.

Missions are nice, but have been told the small size will limit things
