Matching HDMI cables???

Dose anybody know if it would be better to match my HDMI cables. PS3 to amp i have a chord company super shield HDMI. amp to tv i have a ixos HDMI. Should i buy a other Chord Company Super Shield????????

Ive heard this doesnt really matter dirtydean as this is a question i once asked, but being the perfectionist that i am i prefer to use the same HDMI for everything.

My IXOS is abit old. I think ill get a other one for my Birthday you never know them lovely pepole at What HIFI might use my post as Thread of the month then ill win one ha ha ha

Ive heard this doesnt really matter dirtydean as this is a question i once asked, but being the perfectionist that i am i prefer to use the same HDMI for everything.Since the Big Question showed that the cable differences were slight (virtually none with picture), and in some tests people preferred free cables to the Chord, you would be ill advised to buy one of them. I can think of no possible reason that the cables would need to be matched.

It's the first time I've heard of someone matching HDMI cables?!! Surely it's not for aesthetic reasons!!

I have two HDMI cables of the same make, i.e. Chord Supershield - one from my blu-ray player to my amp, and another from my amp to my TV.

It is certainly not necessary, but more of a personal choice.
