Hi all of you,I would like your advice about the following:I'm planning to buy a new HiFi set: Marantz PM6005 amp + Kef Q700 loudspeakers and a NA 7004 netwerk audio player. The NA7004 is end-of-life and not available anymore. There will be no new NA7005, but a NA8005 which is significantly more expensive and this NA8005 will only be availble half of 2014.So I was thinking of using a Sonos Connect as an alternative to use internet radio and stream music from my PC and iPad (or NAS server). What do you think about this configuration: would this be an alternative for the Marantz network audio player? Thanks a lot for your reply Mario

Yeh the connect is a great solution but I'd think about pairing a DAC with it to get the most out it. And as long as you don't want the digital inputs the NA7004 offers you your good. The Sonos app also makes it also easier than looking at the small marantz screen.

Have you had a listen to the Q700 and PM6005 together yet? ive got both at work but not hooked them up together as of yet

The PM6005 has a built in dac does it not?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I have not heard the PM6005 playing with the Q700s, can't you try them out at work? Would be great to get your feedback...

Together with the Sonos Connect, this must be a nice start-up system, no?

Greetings
