Marantz Receiver Connection help

I want to hook up my Marantz SR6001 with 100watts output per channel to Tannoy Mercury F custom.But the site says that the recommended amp power to connect the centre and the surrounds is 10-90watts and 10-70watts RMS respectively.Can I hook it up?Wont it damage the speakers?Please help..
