Marantz CD5003 and old arcam alpha 3

I've got an online offer for Marantz CD5003 at Eur 273,46 to replace my old entry-level Technics CD player.

Does anyone still have an old arcam alpha 3 paired with CD5003? Will they match/sound nicely?
