So if a file is being streamed via PS3 media server, you can save that file on the hard drive?

How do you do that, havnt seen a button to say save?

Thanks so much again

Find the file on your ps3 menu (via ps3 media server for example), but instead of watching it ~ press the TRIANGLE button to bring up a list of options

Select 'copy' and it will stream it to your hardrive (Will take about the same time as watching a film mind)

Panasonic Store:
The MKV files are hard to convert and do take time as i found out myself

They really dont. MKVtoVOB takes about 10 mins to convert a full film on my harddrive

You can stream the file to your PS3s hardrive and watch from there

Or you can save to dual layer disc and watch direct off that or again, copy to the ps3s hardrive

Also.. When you do such a copy, the a 1080P movie will take up to 24GB (or more in some situations) hard disk space on PS3!
