m&k s150 and ss150 speakers

Just want a bit of advice on the above speakers in which way up they should be mounted.

With the s150's L and R should the 3 smaller speakers be towards the wall or the centre of the room?

The centre speaker, should they be on the top or the bottom?

The ss150's should the 2 speakers that come out the sides be on top or the bottom?

Hi Paul

The 3 tweeters should be on the outside of the left and right speaker to give a bit of width, and the centre one you can have the tweeters on the inside or the outside - but keep them upright, don't lie them down so they're on top or bottom.

The SS150's will have an arrow on the back to show which way they should face - the arrows should point towards the screen.

will the centre make much difference if its on its side? as it fits in better that way

You can try it - it will work, but the reason for the design is a THX requirement.

You will find this in the manual , doing so is competely against the design of the speaker as to its horizontal vertical dispertion.
