Hello

My desk is next to the assistants / secretaries and there are just so and so many flight bookings one can endure overhearing before you start snapping pencils and your mental sanity starts to suffer!

I would thus like to get a pair of noice cancelling headphones.

They have to be comfy, have excellent noise canceling and will be driven by an ipod.

What would you suggest?

Thanks, Rjes

What's your budget?

They can range from this to this.

Both these options are best in their class for the money.

Well, what do I need to budget to get a decent noise canceling performance?

Thanks.

The Bose is a bit too expensive...

Any opinion on the AKG offerings?

Regards

The AKG I've heard was decent, but the battery & noise cancelling unit was separate to the main headphone, & was hanging around my hip! I found that hugely inconvenient. I don't know if they make headphones with built-in noise cancelling unit.

The Goldring NS1000 is usually worth £159 if you check different sites online, but is only £59.99 on play.com (£49.99 until last week) & superfi, which, in my opinion, is the bargain of the century. They're brilliant.
