Looking for any advices for a cd player

Good afternoon,

I have an old combo that i bought in 1988 .It does include : Proton 830R CD player + Ampli SUGDEN A28II + DCM Time frame 350 :http://www.audioweb.com/Review/ReviewViewerBottom.asp?reviewid=19646

Living in a 2rooms flat with an only 3x5m "living-room" , i would like to improve my combo by upgrading only the cd-player .

My budget will be 400-500 euros .

Listening mainly Classical music and Jazz ( vocal , latin jazz , funk , instrumental ..)

I will welcome any hints that could help me to focus my "investigation" toward any good and reliable device that might fit my present combo ..( marantz Cd 6002 ? Cambridge Azur 640V2 ?....else ?..)

You will be wanting the Arcam CD73 - specially made for softer music such as Jazz and Classic, but will still give rock a good ...well...rock! It will match your set-up quite well I should think, the DCM Time Frame should appreciate a player with good imaging. 😉

cyrus cd6s can be a good choice, rich low and warm at the high freq.
