Hi, i'm looking for a subwoofer in the price range of under 1000€.

It will be mainly used for movies and music. Do you guys have any recommendations, and what has the best value for the buck for that setup?

🙂

I am currently looking at the Buchardt Sub 10, unfortunately it's 1300 euros.
That said you haven't given us enough information on room size and what you intend to connect it to.
Also I have no idea what is available wherever you live for that price.
Presume you want to buy new?
And, for what it is worth, a good subwoofer will not be concerned as to whether it's music or a film soundtrack......

Hi, Kef LS 50 wireless are realy good speakers, very fast and detailed. It is not easy to find a top matching sub. From my experience, I recommend to look for one 10 inch subwoofer or two 8 inch subwoofers with closed box. One woofer per side is optimum. With sealed-closed cabinet, you will have less problems with placement and optimalization of system. Kef has very good Kube subwoofers. They will match well with LS50WL. Or some Rel or Velodyne subwoofer (my choice) I can recommend. BR

Do it right do it once!

Save a touch longer and save for the matching kef KC62. It will integrate perfectly with your mains as it’s designed to work with them.

But if you’re unwilling to wait and save for SVS mirco, it will be fine in your spot. It’s a potent little thing.
