Nice one. That amp is superb but still not convinced, based on personal experience, that Focal are the best match. Sorry if I sound negative but just being brutally honest.

No worries mate, everyone is entitled to their opinion. i think a lot of people would have slated the amp i have now, without even listening to it 1st.

the Focal 826v i have are an absolute dream. i'm totally sold on the Focal sound. the few people that have listened to mine have been blown away by them.

Focal speakers are IMO understated in this forum esp. the entry level one's..:?

this thing has got some serious kick. it sounds amazing with the focals.

Only heard my Pro-ject thro the Leema, but compared to other amps (same TT) it is a good'un. And it's switchable to MC which is fairly rare in an amp that price.

i've been very surprised by the sound quality of the Pulse when using the phono stage. i've not had the TT long, but i'm enjoying it immensly. i'm sure a lot of that enjoyment is to do with the quality of the Leema.

i can't sing its praises enough.

There's one currently on ebay, and one on gumtree being sold with matching CD player.
