Little Pinkie-noticeable improvement?

Has anyone connected their Musical Fidelity or any other DAC to an expensive power supply such as the Little Pinkie? Was the difference any good? Is it worth the £100

There was a post before about these PSUs here; http://community.whathifi.com/forums/t/228268.aspx . I put in an order for the RA one, but cancelled after they took an age and I wanted an extra length of cable. I then found out about Rock Grotto, but got my amp modded instead. All I can say is that the Little Pinky gets rave reviews elsewhere and I will get one, once my new amp is out of warranty. If MF find out what you have been up to they will not fix any problems. But I have no doubt that Rock Grotto workmanship is excellent and Mike Grierson will sort out any problems. I will eventually get one.

My MF PSUs get very hot. The smaller one for the X-CANS looks and feels very cheap and the connector to the amp is a poor fit. That does suggest an upgrade would be beneficial.
