Lip sync problems and video cut out.

Hi i really need some help with this. I have had a sony w5500, sony home cinema and blu ray player for some months now. But lately while watching blu rays there seems to be a lip sync delay and the video may cut out for a couple of seconds and show me the input screen. what could be the problem? Thanks.

Lip Sync can be cured if you have a delay setting in your amp or player, signal cut-out usually means that your hdmi cable is not carrying the signal properly from your player to your amp. Try re-sighting the hdmi cable, or another cable entirely.
