I want to use a Lindy 4K Audio Extractor in my Home Cinema system to enable me to use my headphones when necessary. I'll not go into all the connection details or the reasons here as this is a bit long-winded. But the 4K compatible Lindy has an HDMI in and HDMI out and I plan to interpose it between the soundbar and TV. The issue is that while the Lindy supports most digital audio formats, it does not support Dolby Atmos or DTS X; but the soundbar supports both.
So, if the Lindy is interposing between the Soundbar and TV when I play a Blu-ray disc with Atmos audio, will the Lindy allow the signals to pass through to be decoded by the soundbar?
