lg sky remote code

Hi my bro has just got a new lg50pn650t plasma but can't get the sky volume control or on off to work with his tv. Have tried the sky online remote code finder tool and none of the codes work, lg website general faq codes also don't work.

The sky is an old white sky+ box with a rev6 remote. Anyone got any ideas?
