Unless I am reading it wrong, the $3499 model is not 4k tho, just standard HD. God knows how much the ultra hi def equivalent will be when it comes out!
Yep, I only noticed that second time I read it, but who cares about 4K anyway?

Just wait longer gel. This will cost around £3200-3500 in the UK. The prices will drop further.
Will do. I am thinking about £2000 for this.

4K is pointless in the home. OLED, on the other hand...

But let's have them as flat panels which you can hang on the wall. In the meantime I'm sticking with my plasma.

I bought a cheapie 2nd tv last week and saw a Panasonic 64" 4K tv and was astonished by the quality of the picture. So I am definitely interested (I was also astonished that it looked so good set up in currys!)
