LG C9 55” Sound Quality...

Just about to buy an LG C9 55”. All the reviews comment on how good it sounds. Given this, would adding something like a Sonos Beam offer an appreciable step up in sound quality or would I have to spend considerably more on a sound bar before I got a worthwhile improvement over the already decent sound of the C9?

The Playbar was on special offer in Richer Sounds the other day and will be a definite improvement for not much extra dosh over the Beam.

One small issue to look out for with modern TVs is that the height of the built in stands are very low and that means any soundbar more than a few centimetres tall can't be placed on the same shelf.
