LFE channel 120hz !!

Soooo. DD guidlines suggests lfe channel should not exceed 120hz. If an av amp is set to crossover at (say) 80hz, does that mean that possible lfe signal between 80-120hz is lost or does 'all' lfe signal pass to the sub irrespective of crossover. Just wonderin' :roll:

LFE is a separate channel that is 120Hz and below and only destined for your subwoofer in a x.1 system.

The crossover diverts bass information to the subwoofer from the surround speakers so shouldn't effect the LFE channel.
