Well my Synology DS212J arrived today with 2 x WD Red 2TB drives.
Took 4 hours to transfer my ALAC files from my MacBook Pro to my NAS.
Well it all worked flawlessly, my artwork is missing but Im not fussed about that, just ripped a CD on my MBP - Wahoo its straight on the NAS - happy days!
My SBT has been relegated to the bedroom with some Active speakers!
My Rega Apollo R has been sold.
I am now happily streaming from my NAS to my Rega DAC and all sounds well - keep flicking through the DS Audio app on my phone!
Later gonna sit down and spin some vinyl on my RP3 - Life is good!
